I made these puppets for Bird by Forward Theatre Project: an outdoor show about flight, freedom and the relationship between humankind and nature. A lonely young boy makes friends with a wild bird and his eyes are opened to the natural world around him. As the bird and the boy grow together he comes to realise what dwellers in an urban landscape can learn from their feathered friends. Designer: Lydia Denno. Boy played by Peter Hobday.
